My trip to Marudi 1st January 2012.
I took MTC express bus from Kuching at 16:30hrs – arrived Miri 07:00hrs approximately, 2nd January 2012. From Pujut Corner Express bus Terminal, Miri I took a taxi to Kuala Baram at 09:00hrs to catch the 11:30hrs express boat up to Marudi. The boat took almost 3 hours to reach Marudi – damn slow!
At Marudi I was waited by Kevin and Allan (my brother in-law). Checked-in at Mayland Hotel after searching for room at 3 other small hotels which are fully in-housed already. After me and Kevin checked-in, he showed me his shopping list where we went out to shop thereafter.
Night fall – Nenek Kevin datang ke hotel bersama cousin Kevin – Icca Lujok & Yohan (anak Allan). Kami bawa mereka minum kopi, lepas tu we balik ke hotel, watching HBO movies then we tidur. Zzzzzz zzzzz zzzzz
3rd January 2012. As early as 7am we took a taxi straight to SMK Marudi where we daftar Kevin masuk form 1. Mak Kevin yang buat semua urusan. I pilak tukang jaga beg barang-barang. Everything settled before noon and we blah again to Marudi town to buy baldi and bantal for Kevin – which he missed to put in his shopping list.
Lunch – at Lucky Restaurant – Allan yang belanja. Lepastu ikut Kevin ke sekolah lagi untuk menyetelkan perkara yang settled (sekejap jer) then I balik ke pasar lagi – tunggu my sister bank-in duit – he he he tak cukup blanja. Sementara menunggu message dari sister I, I check-in di Baram Hotel – Lousy hotel – tv not working…
After shower I relaxed laying my back on the bed…my sister message me telling me the money has already been transacted to Allan’s bank account at Public Bank. I told Allan about it and shortly he came and we went to withdraw it. Thanks to my sister!
Dah dapat duit – I balik rehat di hotel, datang pulak message dari Mak Kevin – katanya Kevin mengadu, tilamnya dan katilnya kena ambil! Bergegas aku ke sekolahnya lagi untuk menguruskan problem tu. Dapatkan bantuan dari pengawal sekolah untuk mencari penyelia asrama – En. Dennis. Baik betul dia…thanks for your help, yang mana akhirnya problem Kevin tadi, settled! Then I got back to hotel again and write this blog peacefully…tomorrow 4th January 2012 the reverse the process of my trip back to Kuching…
